Our Team:

Vodafone Group Technology spans across the entire Vodafone footprint, driving our technology advancements and bringing together the markets into communities to share and gain practice across the group.  As we evolve into a truly digital company, the experience we provide to our customers through our channels becomes ever more important.

Our team works with the markets to monitor and drive improvements to their web and My Vodafone app assets, using a suite of digital marketing tools to provide an enabling framework from which markets can monitor their customer experience and identify areas for improvements.

We are now looking for a technical resource with experience of mobile and web development to enhance our team and help us evolve our digital offerings to better serve our customers.

With us you will:
  • Establish and maintain our mobile and web blueprints to ensure consistent design and implementation of our tooling across Vodafone market
  • Support markets with their web and app side development - implementing analytics and performance toolsets to a group wide blueprint
  • Work to deliver prototypes and features around our analytics and performance tool sets
  • Support markets with integration of our key toolsets (Tealium IQ, Adobe, Performance monitoring)
What you can expect from us:

With the primary location of London, the role will also have opportunity to travel, working with peers and colleagues in our Group offices in Dusseldorf, and also with the likelihood of travel to the different Vodafone Operators as we look to increase our engagement across markets and support them in their local delivery of the MyVodafone app.

Apply if you have:
  • Technical experience / knowledge of mobile app design and development, covering Android and iOS, as well as design approaches and their pro’s and con’s 
  • A passionate advocate of how technology fits within the wider business, how technology can be used to gain advantage for the business and the role it can play in the delivery of a great customer experience
  • Drive for generic, re-usable modular solutions, incorporating future evolution readiness and holistic views
  • Ability to establish influential, trust based relationships across Commercial and Technology teams, develo ping a detailed understanding of business and operational strategies
  • Experience of working with Agile delivery methodologies

  • Mobile app or web development experience
  • Experience of Mobile Telecomms
