Digital Operations Business Analyst

Location: Newbury

As a Digital Operations Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the capture and development of requirements and analysis of business capabilities at multiple levels within customer operations. Creation of data driven insight and artefacts that enable the release of value from delivery of requirements into IT systems.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 
  • Operate within the analysis framework, activities, and in alignment across customer operations strategic initiatives.

  • Complete the business requirement specifications (or Agile form (features, user stories) ensuring transparency & sign off by the product owner / manager.

  • Ensure any system and data requirements, design remain aligned with business requirements / acceptance criteria, acting as a conduit between business and technology.

  • Ensure all aspects of analysis at each phase are managed, traceable and testable, utilising standard frameworks and templates

  • Support preparation and running of events such as design walkthroughs, sprint show and tellst, UAT, migration, readiness and training as necessary.

 
You will be:
 
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with a proven record of working and communicating within multi-disciplinary virtual teams, ideally in the telecoms or IT sector

  • Demonstrable business analysis experience using best practice methodologies for both Waterfall and Agile projects

  • Ability to translate customer journeys and processes into logical and physical data models.

  • Ability to identify sources, create logic and compile datasets to support feature and / or migration related delivery.

     

You will have:

 
  • Experience as a business analyst working in either a consultancy or internal position

  • BCS diploma or equivalent experience
