The role is part of the Digital Leadership Team, and is ultimately accountable for the formulation of a clear and compelling strategy for Digital Enablers.  This strategy brings together the various streams of activity across the Tribe that support the Vodafone Digital Vision and the commercial, service and experience objectives of our Consumer and Enterprise businesses.


The role will work closely with the Digital Leadership team to create a joined up approach and narrative for the investments that we are making in Digital, surfacing the key strategic opportunities and enablers that the Tribe is responsible for and presenting an overall roadmap that illustrates the progress we are making towards a ‘world-class’ digital experience.


This activity will support our 9+15 business planning activities and underpin the annual investment submission (Capex and Opex), articulating the benefits associated with the investment and how this aligns to the Long Range Plan across the various business units. 


The role holder will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and regular communication of our strategy, objectives and progress to achieving goals (successes and failures) to the various stakeholder groups, e.g. UK Leadership, Group and industry analysts.


Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain a clear articulation of the Digital Enablers 3-year strategy (Long range plan) with an effective framework and narrative for the annual investment plan, working closely with the Digital Demand and Planning team and DLT

• Own the ongoing communication of the Digital Enablers strategy and plan to various stakeholder groups across the UK and Group Corporate functions, e.g. Group Digital, Group Marketing and Digital Execution Office

• Promote visibility and access to market research and analytics based insights to inform opportunities for the Digital Tribe.

• This will include use of internal and external sources, such as economic and industry trends, competitor activity, marketplace environment and technology trends affecting Vodafone UK and its customers.

• Lead the co-creation of the 2-3 year digital plan across Consumer, CS&O and Enterprise to meet the Commercial Strategy Roadmap

• Work with the various UK digital teams and Vodafone Group digital to ensure the socialisation and exchange of best practises across digital and to contribute to the digital roadmap definition

• Create presentations and reports for executive management, and external audiences to enhance strategic decision making and support recommendations

• Strategic Performance Management: Support the development of the business’s KPI infrastructure to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against plans and budgets as well as strategic objectives

• Strategic Risk Management: Drive the development of strategic threat identification and evaluation processes as well as overseeing their adoption across the business
