Demand Planning Specialist – 245376

Within this role, you will own Demand Planning & forecasting for segment for devices and accessories ranged in the portfolio. You will also build and maintain rolling forecast utilising all key metrics/data to deliver robust forecast by channel & segment as well as drive operational relationships with key stakeholders to achieve sales and operational planning excellence.

Key accountabilities 
 
Business Impact:
  • Forecasting - using sales/despatch history, segments DB, analysis, inbound plans and forecasts to optimise the stock in line with terminals KPIs and targets
  • Customers, supplier and third parties
  • Liaise & support with Sales/Marketing and Commercial teams in relation to demand signal / highlighting risks and opportunities. 
  • Proactively promote terminals strategy and services to broader business  Segment,  Channel, Customer Operations & Sales Operations
  • Drive NPS through all working practices
Leadership and teamwork

  • Support and deputise for Demand Planning Manager 
  • Support wider supply chain and terminals management as subject matter expert.
  • Liaise with other areas of the business internal and external i.e. Segment, Distribution, Senior management,
  • Cross functional working within Terminals Team – alignment/close liaison with peers.
Innovation and change

  • Manage relevant projects for segment terminals strategy
  • Become expert in field able to coach, develop and train other team members
  • Knowledge and experience
  • Act as ambassador within Channel/Segment for terminals uk
  • Liaise with other areas of the business internal and external to promote demand planning and sales and operations planning process.
Communication

Own reporting on sales, forecasts and  vendor operational performance over a number of mediums suited to segment
Timely and accurate communication of KPI performance
Timely and accurate communication of key data around demand / supply of segment portfolio range
