With us you will:
As Senior Data Governance Architect, you will support architecture, design, implementation, establishment, and delivery of enterprise Data Governance solutions, including policies and standards for Vodafone’s data governance strategy.
You will help create, drive and support the adoption of data governance policies and standards across all Vodafone operational companies.
You will help build common consensus on the architecture within each of the (many) local markets and subsequently enable the local markets implementation of data governance framework.
You will provide coaching and mentoring to business and technology areas in the application and usage of Data Governance solutions.
You must have…
Your ability to communicate both written and verbally is excellent.
You have a record of driving technical change.
You have experience working in a global team distributed across multiple locations.
You ensure alignment to the enterprise architecture and adherence to architecture principles
You can critically and constructively evaluate tools, standards and procedures.
You are a “doer” with hands on experience in data modelling (SID expert), TMF Open API, Data Catalog solution (Collibra preferred), event-based/streaming architectures and technologies like Kafka, pub/sub, schema registry and API’s.
You have experience with Google cloud (preferred)/AWS /Azure and K8S.
You have experience juggling various stakeholder demands and can proactively manage and prioritise time and resources across multiple projects.
You’ll be expertly familiar with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, and their impact on our processes, procedures and tooling.
You have very strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
You have strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservice architectures and event sourcing.
You are a team player who works collaboratively with other members of the team, and can lead and train other members of the team.
