Role Title:  Data Domain Lead
Location: Newbury

To participate to the development of an end-to-end Data transformation strategy in IT, to deliver the business objectives.

To lead, in conjunction with the Architecture function, the delivery of a target Solution Architecture for the data domain.

Define and/or ratify the Data Strategy, architecture, Delivery Model, Operating Model, and Organisation with the TSO Director, Enterprise IT Director  & Head of Enterprise IT Delivery.

With us you will:
  • Act as a Data Product Manager to manage complex delivery of solutions in the areas of Big Data, BI and AI solutions using cloud (AWS) and on premise data infrastructures (LEAP framework)
  • Establish, Own, Run and Continuously Improve Data Delivery Operating Model for vBIT

  • Complex Delivery of Digital Data capabilities in the areas of Analytics, AI, BI, ML and MDM using Agile (SAFe)and DevOps into Digital Enterprise programmes and key business initiatives

  • Accountable for growing and running internal expertise and Shared Services’ Data Delivery Factory (Data Engineering and Operations) in TSSC(Pune)

  • Manage (direct and matrix) 3rd party systems integrators, technology partners, reference data providers and cloud platform providers

 Apply if you can:
  • Experience of managing complex delivery of Big Data, Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions into operations and BAU stream
  • Experience of technically leading data engineering teams using Agile (SAFe and DevOps) and running of Data Operations/Factory

  • Demonstrable experience in creating scalable architectures/frameworks in complex contemporary cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and hybrid analytical platforms space

  • Experience of building and nurturing globally distributed teams of data engineers/scientists and data architects/SMEs
