NewCo is one of the most vital projects for Vodafone UK’s Mobile business processes starting from Customer Provisioning, Billing, Customer Care, Mediation and identity Management. The NewCo Level 2 team is a part of the Vodafone Technology Shared Service Centre (TSSC) with a presence both onsite at Newbury and offshore at Pune India to deliver the service.
The CUR/CTB will form part of a team onsite responsible for Level 2 support (Issue analysis, Deployments, Support delivery function, Problem management and Major Incident resolution) of all the NewCo systems to ensure smooth & fault free operation of Vodafone’s mobile operation with maximum customer satisfaction.
With us you will:
Be the single point of contact for customer, offshore and Onshore team
Own day to day operational support issues
Accountable for meeting & improving SLA & KPIs for the applications
End-to-end ownership of the incidents, communication between business and support teams;
Support War room investigations.
Participate in Change, Release and Deployment activities and Transformation plans
Drive process & service improvement Constantly challenge to review methodology to enhance delivery
Manager Customer expectations & ensure customer satisfaction
We need you to have:
ITIL Foundation certified
Experience in JAVA and Apache Webserver for L2 support
Basic Telecom Knowledge
5 to 8 years of application operations experience working with Java and Apache Webserver
Prior work experience in L2 Application operation support
Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to critical issues
Strong knowledge and experience in Applications Operations in Telecom Domain
Primary skills: Java and Apache Webserver
Secondary skills: Java Naming and Directory Interface(JNDI) -API, SOAP API, UNIX, Linux
Ability to lead and articulate end-to-end business processes and the key integration/ control points, work cross-functionally across different business processes
Engage with business to proactively provide advisory and guidance on risks and controls for new projects, programs, processes and initiatives
The role will be part of Application Operations unit of the organization.
Performing day-to-day L2 support activities- incident and service request
Support change, Release and deployment for CUR (Common User Repository) and CTB (Charge to Bill) applications
Customer and Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with offshore team responsible for operation service delivery
