This is a critical Supervisory role within Commercial Operations as the individual will take ownership of all aspects of the UK Segment based commissions process whilst maintaining a hands-on Commissions Analyst role. Vodafone’s FY20 Sales Commission Plan is key to delivering the Vodafone UK Business strategy and this role will actively support this.
This role would be responsible for the end to end commissions payment processes, performance and financial reporting. The current team are working with a difficult manual process using a commissions engine to calculate and make payments that is to be replaced. The individual within this role would take ownership of delivering the changes required to the current process and model to ensure a smooth transition to the new FY20 Sales Commissions Plan within the capabilities of the current systems, ultimately delivering against the team’s wider digital roadmap for the future.
The role is both challenging and rewarding as it gives exposure to many areas of Vodafone Business that requires effective internal and external stakeholder management skills. The role would suit anyone that wants to pursue a career in commercial operations and/or change management.
- Accurate and timely commission payments
- Accurate and timely month-end reporting
Manage and own the delivery of the requirements of the new FY20 Plan into the existing commission engine
- Manage the query workload
- Manage the Product Taxonomy
- Manage the offshore Validations process
Maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders across the business
Support the Commissions manager to provide decision support to the Vodafone Business Executive Leadership team
Will require a mind-set to drive process improvements and work on relevant projects as and when they arrive
