The Commercial Retention team shape and deliver the end to end strategy for saving customers by creating a strong understanding of customer retention needs across all Consumer products.  The team are responsible for delivering annual churn improvements in an efficient and valuable way. 

In this role you will create initiatives which support delivery of core metrics on churn, spend and driving additional revenue by working with key areas such as finance, product, analytics and customer insight 

You will also assess the effectiveness of in-flight activities, reporting on performance, forecasting future results and contributing to the planning process.

As a Commercial Manager your main responsibilities will include:
Lead development and measurement of retention and revenue stimulation activities.  Work with PAYM / PAYG /Home Broadband segments to identify areas of opportunity for revenue and margin uplift by increasing customer ARPU at point of retention.  Create and run test & learn strategies across all channels.
Create weekly forecasts for churn and the dependent variables in order to ensure performance is as per plan from a customer number, revenue, and spend perspective
Develop retention strategies to ensure the customer churn rate is in line with the market and activities are optimised to drive the desired results
Identify new opportunities to drive down churn & outflow value. Drive recommendations through to implementation

As a Commercial Manager you will have:
Extensive commercial experience (mobile telecoms experience preferable but not required)
Highly numerate and commercially minded. Proven ability to create & interpret complex commercial and financial analysis and make changes as necessary
Experience of working with operations teams and appreciative of constraints of delivery through customer facing areas such as retail and call centres
Competent and confident in relationship building and effectively able to influence senior management
Forecasting experience
Economic/financial (spreadsheet) modelling
