As Commercial Activation Manager, you will be responsible for the commercialisation of the Vodafone Digital Marketplace to scale products and services to drive revenue across markets. This is a new and key role within the Marketplace team to be responsible for creating and managing the onboarding commercial framework for the Marketplace and leading the implementation of the model across the Group portfolios (IoT, Cloud and Security, UC&C), OpCo’s, third party Service providers and other third party channels.


This role within the Transformation and Digital team requires passion and the ability to work in a highly matrixed organisation to drive digital transformation through the addition of products and services for key SME Propositions.
This is a senior role that spans definition and the leading the implementation of;

  • Commercial Framework – Minimum revenue share levels, associated platform costs, GTM and joint marketing funding by product and proposition classification, evolving the structure of the commercial framework to support the commercialisation of the partner community
  • Contractual mechanism – reviewing the structure of the VPA/AAA construct and developing a new contracting vehicle specific to the resale of partner products on the marketplace and adoption through local markets
  • Onboarding product and technical standards blueprint to ensure product consistency, bundling, CX, API’s across the marketplace platform and the wider global marketplace infrastructure
  • Project management of the onboarding roadmap in conjunction with the platform and Proposition teams within the Marketplace team. Working closely with the product management teams in the LOB’s to ensure marketplace commercialisation, efficient prioritisation and delivery of the XLOB Propositions on the Marketplace

Critical to your success in this role, is the need to develop trusted relationships with key Internal and external stakeholders. You will possess strong commercial and new product development skills as well as verbal communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise on a daily basis.  A self-starter with a real focus on delivering growth through products on the Marketplace internationally.

With us you will:

  • Define and own marketplace commercial model to maximise revenue and margin
  • Optimise the contractual and operating processes for marketplace products
  • Lead marketplace commercial model and onboarding implementation across Vodafone OpCos
  • Optimise XLOB proposition and product marketplace on-boarding process
  • Manage a partner eco-system to scale the business
