Introduction:
 
 
 

Cognitive & Machine Learning is a growth area within Technology Shared Services and due to the popularity of these technologies, solution and project demand amongst local markets and group functions is increasing. We anticipate multiple projects in various business areas that will need a technical solution evaluation, design, project management and delivery coordination with customers / stakeholders.


 

The core of the role is to ensure delivery of cognitive and machine learning projects and be the liaison between business stakeholders and our cognitive implementation team in Cairo. The role owners will help business service owners to scope their project (including technical recommendation and high-level design) and work with the technical delivery managers to plan the work and deliver the project within the agreed timelines. The role owner will deliver to business service owners regular reporting on progress and collaborate in progressive delivery using and coordinating Agile techniques based on scrum – sprint planning, scrum calls, sprint reviews and retrospective – with the cognitive engineering teams.


 

The candidate requires high stakeholder management skills with a strong business acumen, coaching business stakeholders in their technology transformation journeys and helping them organising their change management as appropriate (training, user acceptance campaigns, communications etc.). A capacity to build executive-level reports is required. The role requires understanding of how cognitive and machine learning technology works and keeping that knowledge up-to-date with the technology advancement. 

 


The candidate will also support the pre-sales team to identify and qualify opportunities (across automation technologies), and also the cognitive / automation programme managers to update roadmaps, reporting and contribute to the ongoing improvement of TSS cognitive engineering and delivery practice.  Finally, the role also requires a strong element of service definition – including all the aspects of creating, running and maintaining an IT service during and after a projects completion (in-life etc.).

With us you will have:
 
  • Professional experience in IT automation / robotics / AI / machine learning / cognitive

  • Experience in software development and project management of software projects using agile

  • Experience as a business analyst or any similar role that involves requirements elicitation, analysis,  creating  process flow-diagrams, technical design specifications, requirements analysis  & documentation

 
Apply if you have:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software/Systems/Telecom Engineering or equivalent

  • Good knowledge in development technologies: (Java, java script, python , VB or any other scripting experience) and sound understanding of Object-oriented programming

  • Experience working with some of the following technologies; IT automation / robotics / AI / machine learning / cognitive

  • Experience working with and within agile - including Scrum Framework and tools

  • Experience of technical automation and automation techniques and technologies

  • Awareness of ITIL processes and best practices.
