Run Data Center lifecycle and capacity planning in all the European Markets, in accordance with Vodafone strategy and the goals of Network Virtual Infrastructure (NVI) design team.
Particular technology focus on NVI (VMWare, Openstack and/or Containers based), SDN & OSS infrastructure (hypervisor, computing, storage, Network - physical or virtual), cloud, security, remote access and backup solutions; support to RFQs and definition of a reference architecture to assure harmonization for all European markets by ensuring new Infrastructure capabilities evolution design.
You must have…
Several years professional experience in telecommunication or IT
Strong focus on engineering and architecture of NFV/SDN solutions
Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, cloud computing and virtualization architectures (IT and Telco)
Telco OSS/BSS Solutions
Knowledge of IT standards
ITIL, ETOM and project management techniques (e.g. Prince2) knowledge
Nice to have: knowledge of Machine Learning and AI techniques
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills (in English)
Customer oriented and systematic way of working
Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver results and change
Strong individual thinking & judgment
Open minded attitude
