About the role

As Business Support Manager within the Technology Security team you will be providing direct Business Management support to the Head of Technology Security and her Leadership Team. With a particular focus on Stakeholder Communications, Executive Reporting, Awareness Planning and Development, Business Continuity, Audit / Compliance Action Tracking and Exec Meeting Management. You will facilitate the Head of Tech Security and the Leadership Team in operating effectively together, with Vodafone UK and Vodafone Group.

This role is a high profile role within the department and will report directly to the Head of Technology Security. It is essential that Exec driven initiatives and activities are planned, coordinated and communicated effectively and you will play a key role in the department success. There will be a strong emphasis on the production of quality materials on behalf of the Head of Tech Security and will require close working and relationship building with all departmental senior managers, and other members of the wider Technology Leadership Team.


As a Business Support Manager – Tech Security, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Management and coordination of quarterly all hands Meetings ensuring appropriate time is spent on the right topics, actions/next steps are captured and communicated with clarity and clear ownership.
  • Own and manage Technology Security Objectives ensuring the right level of visibility and focus is given to top priority objectives and working with the team to put in place action/improvement plans where necessary to ensure we meet targets.
  • You will ensure Chief Technology Security Officer is prepared for Technology Leadership Team, Investment Review Committee, Capital Allocation, Group CTSO Board, GDPR Board Committee, Risk and Audit Committee, Group Technology Security level meetings where appropriate; agreeing content and co-ordinating production of material across all Technology Security functions.
  • You will be heavily involved in preparing Monthly/Quarterly Cyber reports and servicing information requests from Technology Director & Group Technology Security Director being able to locate, extract and summarise information at the right level and in a timely manner.
