Billing Operations Manager- £excellent + great benefits 

About the role

A genuinely unique team has been created to tackle a specific consumer market segment and this small unit is both agile and entrepreneurial in nature. Roles are broad, with significant opportunity for personal contribution and room to expand accountabilities.

This role will be a key role for supporting the day to day operation of Pay Monthly Retail Billing. A key responsibility is for the maintenance and operation of call rating and Billing. This includes understanding network, commercial or regulatory changes, reconfiguring the system to support the changes, testing and then monitoring the changes have been successful. Configuration changes will also be required to resolve ‘suspense’ or rejected usage as well as service or billing issues experienced by customers raised by the Customer Care or operational support teams.

Proactive monitoring and reconciliation will also be needed to ensure timely and accurate Billing. This is a ‘hands on’ role which will require excellent analysis and investigation skills as well as a strong technical background and strong SQL skills.  

Responsibilities:

- Billing system configuration and tariff maintenance
- Resolution of rejected usage
- Resolution of issues relating to Rating, Charging, Billing, Payments and provision of service 
- Proactive Assurance
- Reconciliation 
- Alert & exception Reporting
- UAT

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience:

- Telecoms Rating and Billing
- SQL and database manipulation
- Investigation and Problem solving
