The goal of Digital X program is to deliver strategic roadmap that can be owned and delivered by Digital domain using state of the art technologies like cloud.
In context of this, we are looking for DigitalX Application(AWS) Lead who will take primary responsibility for Application operational support for Digital Application Layer. In a customer facing role, he will be responsible to all operational activities and ensure service availability & SLAs.
Expert in below technologies:
Micro services, Amazon Web services, WCS, Java.
Large Tier 1/2 Telecom BSS / OSS L2 Application Operation delivery project
Incident Management & CRQs on demand
Telecom Domain experience is must
Good in stakeholder management
Continuous Service improvement by process optimization & automation
With us you will:
Solve day to day operation support issues
Accountable for meeting & improving SLA & KPIs for the applications
Should be flexible to work in shifts, weekends, Public Holidays on rotational basis
Provide on-call support as and when required.
Responsible for all operational management aspects of incidents
End-to-end ownership of the incidents, communication between business and support teams; issue resolution
Update Work instructions /SOPs
Securing incidents are resolved within SLA
Participate in Change, Release and Deployment activities and Transformation plans
Co-ordination with all support groups
Continuous engagement with operations and support teams to understand the ongoing risks within the business and address it in timely manner
Ability to drive process improvement to continually improve service and reduce costs
Constantly challenge to review methodology to enhance delivery
Develop and manage resource utilization, billing, and optimization process
Analyse performance bottleneck based on monitoring data
Configure and manage security polices, compliance policies, and access controls to AWS resources (e.g. Amazon EC2, Amazon Elastic Load Balancer, Amazon VPC, Amazon RDS etc.)
Configure and manage audit for AWS resources
Develop and operate backup/restoration procedure
Develop and operate patch management procedure
Develop or update CloudFormation script to automate provisioning of AWS resources
Where applicable, develop AWS command line script or CloudFormation script to automate tasks
Respond and resolve production incidents related to AWS resources as well as operating systems running on EC2 instances (e.g. Redhat Enterprise Linux etc.)
We need you to have:
Prior work experience in L2 Application operation support specifically in AWS
ITIL Foundation certified
7-10 years of work experience
Experience as support with Amazon Web Service
Knowledge of AWS:
Elastic Cloud Compute (health check & AMI, Cloud watch etc)
Identity & Access Management
Cloud watch (configuration& monitoring)
Basic knowledge of Load Balancer, Elastic container service, Virtual private cloud .
TIBCO API Exchange:
o Configuration of authorization policies & routing rules
o Configuration of throttling models
o Light-weight orchestration models
o Config UI
Experience in debugging REST API
UNIX/LINUX, shell scripting, integration
We’re happy if you:
Primary Skills: AWS, WCP, WCS, Apache-Webserver, AWS Cloudwatch , Oracle 12C, Unix/Linux
Secondary Skills: Solr, Coherence, Spring boot Java, AWS Cloudwatch
Ability to lead and articulate end-to-end business processes and the key integration/ control points, work cross-functionally across different business processes
Detail oriented and experienced in documenting processes and SOPs
Engage with business to proactively provide advisory and guidance on risks and controls for new projects, programs, processes and initiatives
