To apply for a specific position, it’s pretty straightforward. All you need to do it search for available positions using our Job Search bar. This can be found at the top right corner of any page of our careers website at www.vodafone.co.uk/careers.

Once clicked on, this will take you to our detailed search page, where you can search through filters like location and job type. Simple, right?

If you see a job you think is a bit of you, but you want to apply later on, take note of the job reference number so you can quickly find it again. Alternatively, email yourself the link so you can go directly to the job from your inbox. Just like that.

Our recruiters will contact potential candidates directly by phone or email - good news!

If you are not selected as a candidate for a particular position, you won’t be left hanging, don’t worry. You will receive a status update by email. We encourage you to visit our site regularly or set up a search alert to check for other available opportunities. You never know what may come up.

Sure you can, but please make sure your applications are relevant to your skills and experience, otherwise you may find yourself spending precious application time on roles that aren’t too relevant to your skill-set.

We welcome applicants who may have travelled slightly further away but unfortunately, Vodafone does not currently offer a policy to pay for candidate travel expenses for interviews.

Vodafone Group and Vodafone UK work with a small number of recruitment agencies, but we only accept CV’s from those who are signed to our preferred supplier list.

At this time, we do not accept unsolicited CV’s from recruitment agencies or other third parties. Any unsolicited CV’s received will be treated as the property of Vodafone Group or Vodafone UK, with the use of such CV’s considered null and void.

We like to keep things simple but endeavour to find out as much about our candidates are possible. Likewise, we want you to know all about us!

Therefore, we could use competency based interview, psychometric testing and assessment centres along with a variety of other selection tools where necessary. Don’t worry too much about it at the application stage - you will be given details of any assessment when you are invited to interview.

This can vary according to the role applied for, but we understand the pressures of looking for work and so will do our best to make quick decisions and take decisive action wherever possible.

Due to the high volume of applications for each role, we are unable to give individual feedback if you are unsuccessful after application. However, we pride ourselves on always being able to offer clear and detailed feedback after attending an interview or assessment centre.

As is standard process, all of our employment offers are subject to completion of verification checks to the satisfaction of Vodafone. These include reference, financial and criminal background checks.

We utilise an external partner, The Security Watchdog, who will complete these checks on our behalf. We strive to get these processed quickly and they take on average roughly 3 weeks to complete. There may of course be times when additional verification checks may be necessary – for example if the sensitivity of the material you are handling requires additional security clearance.

But you will have the opportunity for all your personal details to be correct before checks are completed. Should you find yourself in a situation when these verification checks are not passed, it is Vodafone’s policy to retract said offer of employment.

Our very welcoming internal “Onboarding Team” will be sure to organise everything you will need in order to start off on the right foot with us.

They will be in touch 2 weeks prior to your start date to discuss arrangements for your very exciting first day with us!

On your first day, you will be welcome to a full company induction, at either our London Paddington, Newbury, Manchester, Stoke, Newark or Glasgow sites. These are run on the first and third Monday of the month. We ask all our new starters to start with us on one of those dates but fret not - you’ll be given enough notice to do so.
