A better world for everyone
We know that everyone is unique, with multiple aspects to their identity and different experiences behind them. Recognising this is fundamental to how we approach inclusion at Vodafone. Similarly, our networks work collaboratively, share best practices and take a truly inclusive approach to amplify the voices of all of our people and communities.

Alaettin Carikci (he/him)
Diversity & Inclusion Manager
I’m incredibly committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive for everyone regardless of their background. Growing up as a Muslim and gay man, I didn’t have any role models, that is why I’m super passionate about intersectionality, allyship and race equity in the workplace. In my role, I oversee the design, development and delivery of our D&I strategy to ensure it's embedded into everything we do as a business, look after the upskilling of our senior leaders and the leadership programmes we deliver for our marginalised communities.

One of our key business principles is getting it done together, I love the collaboration driven by our D&I team as well as our people networks in working together to drive and embed positive change.

Ella Slade (they/them)
LGBT+ Lead
I’m dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone can not only be themselves but can thrive. Building a strong sense of community at Vodafone has been an exciting opportunity for me in my work with the LGBT+ community. Seeing folks connect with each other, share their stories and uplift one another is fantastic. I particularly enjoy being able to directly support our trans and non-binary colleagues when they come out at work and offering ongoing support and guidance throughout this journey.

In my role, I'm responsible for ensuring that individuals of all races (accounting for their intersectional identities) have equal opportunities to thrive in their careers at Vodafone.

Stephanie Corker (she/her)
Gender Equality Lead
I'm driven in the pursuit of creating a truly inclusive workplace and an equitable society. I take an intersectional approach to all the D&I work that I do, as it's key to recognise the multiple identities that many individuals hold. Along with Gender Equality, I have a focus on overarching D&I talent progression and retention strategies and initiatives. I thrive on facilitating complex and difficult conversations around D&I topics and aim to bring everyone along on the journey of progression and equity.
